Below are visual moodboards I have created to represent my personas. These personas include Aoife (12 y/o), Cian (9 y/o) and primary school teacher Shauna. The children persona moodboards are created with a slightly chaotic/ unorganised layout in order to mirror the mindset of this age. Aoife's moodboard emulates the visuals of a diary of someone of her age. Cian's moodboard is supposed to look like a corkboard that might be hung up in his room and shows a number of his interests and favourite media. Shauna, the primary teacher's moodboard is much more organised in layout and includes a number of her interests and aspects of her life.
Feedback and Updates
Feedback from class illustrated that Visual Moodboard 1, was possibly a little young for the 12 year old age associated. Recommendations were made to include items like makeup and other pop culture references to make the persona more mature and show the contrasting interests of a 12 year old girl.
However, based on feedback from lecturers I have decided to narrow down my target audience from ages 7 to 12, to ages 8 to 10. With this new target audience I don't feel it is necessary to change this moodboard but just change the persona to fit within my new age range. With this narrowing of the age range, I have decided to edit the ages of the children to be 8 for Aoife and 10 for Cian.
