Ahead of the final of submission of work for my major project, I took some time to review the detailed assessment criteria for the project. This was so that I could analyse the different aspects of the criteria and make sure ahead of time if there are changes I can implement to improve the quality of my work based on the marking scheme.
Blog Review
I began with examining my blog in terms of the assessment criteria, which is shown below. I took time going down through my blog posts and comparing them to the requirements.
The following are a couple of things I will be changing or updating-
Blog Layout-
Update blog visuals to match new project aesthetic
Look over hashtags and check they are clear
Development-
Include more imagery of sketches I have created to give context to my digital illustrations
Show thumbnail sketches
Digital illustration iteration progress
Research-
Adapt teacher persona and change to parent persona to better suit project direction
Look over WIP posts to check if other older research needs to be updated
Peer Feedback
I also received feedback from my peers about the success of my blog. My peers relayed to me that they felt the layout and sectioning of the blog was very easy to read and navigate. They also commented on the fact that the title image did not match with the new aesthetic I am implementing for my projects and recommended that I update this. Lastly, they brought it to my attention that the About page for the project needs to be developed further in terms of information. On the same page they also discussed that I should either replace or remove the image.
